Rider Application Form
Dressage Through the Levels
With David Blake and Rebecca Rigdon
April 23-24, 2022
Donida Farm Equestrian Center
16600 SE 376th St. SE
Auburn, WA 98092

Dressage is a beautiful, elegant sport that unites horse and rider molding them into one entity; impossible to see the invisible aids given by the rider and understood by the willing horse. Rebecca and David explain the progression of training to successfully get the most desirable work for each horse and rider combination. Training philosophy, methods, and exercises will be explained and shown from the basics into the FEI levels via a minimum of 12 horse and rider combinations. Their unique methods keep all horses happy with their work. We welcome you to come enjoy this special training opportunity to clarify and understand how the dressage horse should train up the levels.

Riders/horses should be comfortable being instructed in front of a large audience, as there may be 200 or more auditors in attendance. If not selected to ride, applicants are strongly encouraged to audit. Accepted applicants are encouraged to ride in the arena Friday so that their horses may see the décor and arena setup. Audit registration sign-ups are only available online at

Completed online applications and videos must be received by Gwen Blake on or before the date of February 15th, 2022. Donida Farm nor Gwen Blake are not responsible for late or misdirected applications or videos. Videos may be sent via WhatsApp, YouTube, or Facebook Messenger. We will notify all applicants as soon as the selection process is completed, no later than March 1st. Please keep in mind that the deadline to sign up for auditing April 1st. If you sign up to audit ahead of time and have been selected to ride, your audit fee will be refunded. If you have not been selected, you may still sign up to audit online.

The Demo Rider fee for both clinic days is $400, payable to Donida Farm if selected. This includes a single VIP audit ticket and a single stall, along with a gift bag and goodies from our sponsors. Hotel, transportation, or additional food costs are not included. Payment must be received before March 7th, 2022 or else rider forfeits demo rider position. Refunds for last-minute cancellations will not be available; substitution of a horse may be acceptable. Please contact Gwen Blake immediately should any selected riders need to cancel.

These clinics are open to all riders — we will be accepting approximately 12 horse/rider combinations of varying levels, experience, and status. The format will consist of two horse/rider combinations at a time, for a one-hour semi-private session. Riders may apply for more than one level, and/or with more than one horse. David and Rebecca will have an open discussion with auditors and riders between each session. This is a fabulous opportunity to gain invaluable education and experience.
