Christopher Lewman was brought up in Port Townsend, WA and its surrounding areas. In 2005, at the age of 16, he became a member of the Donida Farm team as a working student for United States Dressage Team Member Gwen Blake. In his years at Donida Farm Christopher has become a very well rounded horseman, riding many green broke horses thru FEI. Along with his riding education from Gwen Blake he has ridden with renowned clinicians such as “I” judge Janet Foy and Grand Prix rider Dirk Glitz, and Andrease Hausburger. Christopher is a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist. Christopher has won many Championships including USDF Region 6 Prix St. Georges, USDF Region 6 4th level freestyle, USDF Region 6 4th level reserve, and Friesian World Championship titles. Christopher also has many successes showing horses in hand for keurings and breed shows. In 2009 he spent time in Holland developing his skill with stallion inspections/presentation and ultimately presenting the top Champion stallion in-hand.
Christopher and Gwen work closely together to specialize in selective breaking, and training/development of young horses. In hand work with Piaffe and Passage for the higher level Dressage horse. The training programs are specifically designed for each individual horse. The ultimate goal is a happy well trained horse.
